Get off me! - Clingy!Dog!America x Reader 4
____________________________________________

"Al. Could you please get off me?" you hissed, turning your head to look over your shoulder to see Alfred in a happy-go-lucky mood. Eyes shut in a closed eye smile, he continued to stay where he was, which was right behind you with his arms around your waist. You shook your head at him with a small red flushing your cheeks.

"I'm not bothering you am I?" said male asked, now staring at you with a small tilt of the head. "I hope not." he smiled brightly, his azure eyes shining with glee.

Even if he didn't get that what he usually did was somehow too intimate to be considered normal, you would usually still end up growing beet red with embarrassment. Right now, you desperately needed to pry him off of you because you needed to get to a book signing in the library in town - you couldn't be late.

"Ugh. I have places to be. Please let go, or I'll be late!" you huffed, slipping into a pair of vans with a small stumble.

Alfred pouted and rested his head on your shoulder, his warm skin pressing firmly on your bare shoulder. The crimson hues on your cheeks burned even brighter when he did so.

"Fine..." he sighed, retreating his arms from around your form in a slow pace. Your lips stretched into a faint smile as you sighed in relief.

"Thank you. I won't be gone for too long." you said, flipping open the flap of your shoulder bag and rummaging through your belongings to check that you haven't forgotten anything. Lifting your head to return your gaze to Alfred, you nudged him softly. "Try not to trash the house while I'm out, okay?" you chuckled.

He nodded furiously with a toothy grin. "Of course! I'll just watch TV."

You wrapped your hand around the door knob and twisted it open, pulling open the heavy door.

"See you!" you waved before disappearing out of Alfred's sight. Alfred flinched and raised his hand as if he was reaching out to something.
"W-wait! Damn. You're already gone." he cursed, breathing the last few words in disappointment. "I was going to ask when you were gonna come back..."

Your thighs burned in pain like they had been set on fire but you still kept them working so you could make the bus to the library located in the center of a shopping district. Your gaze was locked on the near path ahead of you, finally lifting to the bus stop a few feet ahead of you.

Sighing in relief, you spotted a line of people outside the door of the bus; buying you some extra time. Stepping on the lowered platform of the vehicle, you paid your fare and plummeted down on a seat with a huff. You pulled out your phone from your back jean pocket and grinned at the time.

"Yes! I'll arrive a few minutes before the book signing!" you thought with triumph. Sliding your phone back in your pocket, you sat back and enjoyed the ride. It would have been a large embarrassment if you arrived late - the book signing is very important for someone like you. Might you ask why? Well...

***

"Oh my god! Thank you so much!" a teenage boy gushed, sounding much like a school girl. Your cheeks were starting to feel sore from smiling so much at the compliments that were thrown at you. You smiled brightly at him and nodded. "You're welcome!"

He left in a hurry, jogging over to group of boys that seemed to be of the same age and started to rant about what had just happened. Returning your attention back to the long line of people holding books and personal belongings in their hands, they shuddered in excitement as they watched your every move.

"Next please!" you called softly to the young man waiting patiently in front of you. His lips curled into a smile and walked up to you, placing a thick hard-covered book on your desk. You blushed ever so slightly as you had stole a quick glance at his appearance.

Short messy light blonde hair framed a handsome, soft-featured face. His lime, crystal like eyes captivated yours in an admiring way, hands interlocked together indicating a bit of shyness.

"H-hello. I just wanted you to sign this book for me please," he started, stumbling over his words. Your eyebrows raised ever so slightly at him, he was different to all the rest that were rabid fangirls and fanboys that seemed to speak faster than how fast speedy Gonzales could run. You let out a chuckle at his pleasant demeanor and nodded.

"Sure! Where would you like it to be signed?" you asked him, eyeing him in curiosity. He flinched when he looked up at you to realized that you were staring at him.

"O-Oh. I-uh... The top left corner please," he stuttered, pointing to the specific area on the cover. You popped off the lid of your pen and swiftly glided the tip on the cover, sliding gracefully over the hard surface like a figure skater on ice. At the corner of your eye, you saw him ogling with wide eyes as you signed the cover. Finishing off your name with a small dot on the left, you sat up straight and picked up the book.

"Here you go! I'm very happy that you like this series!" you thanked him to his surprise.

Rubbing his neck, he smiled sheepishly.

"Thank you. I really do love your work!" coming out only as a soft whisper. Even though you heard it clearly, you decided to tease him. Before he turned away, you called out to him.

"Sorry, what was that?" you asked him.

He stopped in his tracks and faced you with hesitation, a few streaks of red across his face. "U-Uh, I just said thank you." he stuttered, omitting half of what you heard previously.

"Ha ha, alright. And by the way, I'm glad that you love my work." you winked at the blonde, who in return blushed a deep crimson in response. You watched him cover his face with his palms to hide his blush which unfortunately shone right through his hands.

"Aww. Don't be embarrassed! I was just teasing you," you laughed.

Revealing his flustered face, he trailed his gaze to the book he held in his hands.

"Okay... Um. I must say, you are brilliant at writing." he said. He continued to stare at the book in his eyes, eyes swirling with passion and admiration. His fingers caressed it gently like it was the most valuable thing in the world. "You should be very happy to have such skill. I've read many novels and yours are always my favorite."

Placing a hand over your chest where your heart wold have been, you replied, "Why, thank you for that heartfelt compliment!"

Your consciousness just pat your own back in praise for opening him up.

Glancing back up at you with the same look of he previously had, he bore his mesmerizing eyes into yours.

"No problem love," he smiled. His honey-coated voice laced with a heavy British accent rolled off his tongue rung through your ears.

Your eyes widened by the smallest fraction at what he had just said, slightly surprised at what he had just called you. You didn't decide to question it, probably his culture - but you still couldn't help but become embarrassed.

You chuckled lightly and shot him a smile.

"Wow. Haven't heard a British accent in a while. You're from England, possibly?" you questioned him, leaning your face on your hands.

Still keeping up his polite demeanor, he did not seem to be taken aback, but rather intrigued at your sudden interest in him. Eyes flickering in delight, he nodded.

"Yes. London, to be exact." he said.

"It's pretty cold there, eh?" you asked him, images of double decked buses and grey scaled postcards coming to mind.

"Can be quite chilly." he replied.

"Why the sudden interest?" he asked.

Your heart thumped loudly.

"Oh. Nothing much. Just wanted to strike up a conversation." you said.

He raised his head and would have tipped his hat at you if he was wearing one. "Ah, I see. Even after chatting for a while, I haven't introduced myself." he chuckled. He gently took your hand and pressed a kiss to it, his lips lingering on your skin a bit longer than necessary. "Arthur Kirkland at your service."

Blushing from his chivalrous approach, you nodded quickly. "I-It's nice to meet you, Arthur." you stuttered. Peering around the current location you were at, a smile crept onto your face.

"I think you already know who I am." you continued, gesturing to yourself.

"Yes, of course. Now, I would love to stay and chat, but it seems like I'm holding up the line." Arthur laughed, stepping aside to let the next fan make their way towards you. A tinge of disappointment in his voice, he passed you a sad smile and waved you goodbye.

"Bye..." you waved.

He was a rather interesting chap.

*Time skip*

For the next hour, you talked to and signed items for your fans in the library, which ended up breaking its golden rule of being quiet. Almost everybody was the same, squealing out their words or either stuttering with hearts in their eyes. When the last few books were signed and your session had finally come to an end, you packed away your own belongings and prepared to leave. While you picked up your pens and stuffed them back into your shoulder bag, a certain man didn't leave your mind.

There wasn't much to him, nothing real special.

But those brows though.

Anyways, you had gotten quite hungry despite having being sitting down for the past hour. Deciding to go pick up something to eat and maybe something for Alfred, you left the library to go to Gloria Jeans.

You skimmed the wide street that was bustling with people to find a large brown sign that had the name of the cafe you were planning to go to. Right now there was a lot of people, but you didn't mind; unless it gets real stuffy as if someone is pressed right against your back-

"Hi (F/N)!" the figure behind you chirped, shocking you out of your pants. Glancing at the person over your shoulder, you widened your eyes at a pair of baby blue eyes sparkling at yours.

"Alfred? What are you doing here?" you asked, eyeing his figure.

"I got lonely at home, so I went out to find you!" he replied, his mouth forming a cat-like smile. Or in this case, dog.

"Remind me again, this guys is literally a dog. He needs the attention." you thought to yourself.

"Oh, really? Didn't I tell you that I'd be back real soon? I also was on the way home." you said.

"I don't care. I just wanted to see you." he smiled.

If this was an anime, a huge arrow would have pierced your heart.

"Oh. Well, I was just about to go eat somethin-"

"So you weren't going home." he cut you off, leaning forward and boring his eyes into you. A chill ran down your spine as he loomed his huge body over you.

"That doesn't matter! I was just going to pick up something quick." you waved your hands, hoping that he would get off of you.

His lips formed a big 'o' shape and he let out a extended "Ohhh". Alfred still remained inside your little personal bubble to the extent that you could sense his body heat mingling with yours. Without you noticing, he had raised both hands and was preparing to attack you into a hug.

"Eep!" you squeaked, knocked back a few steps from his strong engulf. He squeezed you tightly like a boa constrictor with his arms around your neck.

"I missed you so much! Let's go eat together!" he cooed, burying his face in your hair, inhaling your scent. He stopped nuzzling your neck for a moment, and pulled away with a baffled expression. Noticing his confused look, you titled your head at him.

"What's wrong Alfie?"

"You... Smell weird." Alfred stated glumly.

"What's so wrong with that? And I don't think I smell weird!" you replied with an offended tone. Alfred snaked his arms around your waist and leaned in to take a long whiff. Your breath hitched and your face burned a bright red.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" you squeaked.

"Smelling you." Alfred replied casually.

"Stop! We're in public!" you hissed, whipping your head around and feeling like you were being judged by the random members of the street. He let out a dry chuckle and stopped smelling you.

"Hah, okay. But let me ask you, why do you smell like a million people?" he asked you quietly. All the color drained from his face and his eyes grew glossy. Taken aback by his sudden mood swing, you gripped his shoulders and gave him a reassuring squeeze.

"No, it's not what you think, Alfie. I just, um... Bumped into a lot of people on the street?" you said, sounding a little unsure.

"(F/N)..." he winced. "Did you go out on a date?"

Alfred appeared as though he was about to cry, the dam in his eyes were about to overflow with tears.

"N-no! No way! I didn't! I swear!" you exasperated, lifting open your bag flag and fishing out a tissue. You gingerly dabbed away his tears as he watched you. He sniffed loudly, much to your displeasure.

"Then why do you smell of a guy?" he sulked.

Oh yeah. He can smell like a dog too.

You blinked. "I do?"

"Yes, you do. And he smells nice, like black tea. I-I can smell it really strongly from your hand."

His head lowered to look at your hand. He lifted it and pointed to the back of your hand. You knitted your brows together, not able to add up what he was saying. Your eyes traveled down to your hand, triggering a few memories. You blushed profusely and pulled your hand away.

"Oh. It was just some British guy that um, kissed my hand." you whispered, staring down at the ground. Although you couldn't see it, you felt it. The anger of one million Eren Jaegers.

"WHAT?!" Alfred shouted, so loud that it echoed off the buildings on the street. People nearby flinched at the sudden outburst, but you, who was right in front of him nearly had your ear drum burst. A few murmurs were heard hear and there, but it was mostly quiet. A moment of silence was shared among you both until Alfred spoke up.

You anxiously raised your head to return your gaze with his. A small pink tinted his cheeks and he clenched his teeth tightly.

"That's it. I'm not letting you out of my sight from now on."

Ayeee I brought in a guy for Alfred to hate! He will now be very overprotective of you.
